I love this story in ways that I'm sure aren't legal.
The whole concept is fabulous: I'm becoming a sucker for AU stories about what would have happened should Remus or Sirius have gotten kicked out of Hogwarts. You took a darker path, but it was very well done. It kept me on the edge of my seat ("What's his secret? What's he hiding? What's with the scar?") and when Sirius finally realises what's on Remus' arm... ARGH! I felt my heart stop!
Love it--very simply told, but extraordinarily wonderful!

I really loved it. I'd even go as far as perfect, but I was expecting a bit more from Remus' past, the revelation and the ending seemed a little abrupt to me. But still, it was a great story :)

Oooh, I really enjoyed this -- I wasn't expecting Remus's secret at all, wow. And your writing is lovely, so spare and precise.

This was wonderful on a million levels of love. Wow! Your use of the prompt was great but it was more than that. It was the feeling of the whole thing. The way you twisted canon with the spy thing and kind of make Remus the new but better Snape was wonderful on a million levels, too. Everyone seriously needs to read this fic.

wow, you really had me on the edge of my seat with this creative and original story. this is an excellent example of au and a perfect use of that prompt. i was so afraid for both boys and harry throughout the entire story, but there was enough love to balance out that fear very well. you created such a unique world that really felt like canon, but was also totally unique. i am very impressed my this!

Each sentence stood alone and had impact - some made me smile and some stabbed into me like a knife. I love the premise and how you left it somewhat unresolved but hopeful. :)

This was wonderful. I did not see the twist until it was revealed and just - wow. I was curious, but I had never guessed THAT. Amazing. Believable too! Wonderfully written! :-D

Stunning storytelling here! I was so caught up in the danger, the awkwardness, the jealousy and unease but I had no inkling that was Remus secret. By the way, my heart stopped when Fenir showed up! Lordy! And I still wasn't thinking in the direction that you took this either for Remus' secret or Dumbledore's! What a ride! And kudos for not resolving things to pat at the end either.
